Platform nature
Kashmir Health Collective (“KCentre”, “our platform”, or “KHC”) operates the website https://kashmirhealthcollective.com and related services as a technology platform and healthcare marketplace.
We help people in Srinagar, the Kashmir Valley, and across Jammu & Kashmir discover, compare, and connect with independent healthcare professionals for home healthcare, nursing support, physiotherapy at home, phlebotomy, caregiving, diagnostics, appointments, and related services that may be offered through the platform now or in the future.
Kashmir Health Collective is not a hospital, nursing home, clinic, medical establishment, ambulance service, diagnostic laboratory, pharmacy, or healthcare employer. We do not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines, perform procedures, or deliver hands-on clinical care ourselves.
When you use our platform, you are using a discovery and connection service — similar to a marketplace — not purchasing medical treatment from Kashmir Health Collective directly.
Independent providers
All nurses, physiotherapists, phlebotomists, caregivers, ECG technicians, doctors, and other professionals listed on Kashmir Health Collective are independent service providers.
They are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, or legal representatives of Kashmir Health Collective. We do not supervise their clinical judgment, control how they practise, or guarantee their availability, conduct, or outcomes.
Any healthcare service — including home visits, nursing care, physiotherapy at home Kashmir families book, sample collection, teleconsultations, or follow-up support — is provided directly by the independent professional you choose.
Professional fees, clinical decisions, documentation, prescriptions (where lawfully permitted), infection control, equipment, and compliance with applicable registration requirements remain the responsibility of the individual provider.
No medical advice
Information on our website, app, journal articles, provider profiles, service descriptions, FAQs, chat messages, and marketing materials is provided for general informational purposes only.
Nothing on Kashmir Health Collective should be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation, or a substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
Always seek the advice of a registered doctor or other qualified clinician about any medical condition, medication, symptom, or treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on our platform.
Provider profiles and reviews reflect information supplied by professionals or users and may not be complete, current, or independently verified in every case.
Not for emergencies
Kashmir Health Collective is not designed for medical emergencies, life-threatening conditions, severe injury, chest pain, stroke symptoms, breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness, or situations requiring immediate hospital care.
If you or someone near you may be in danger, contact local emergency services immediately — for example dial 108, 112, or your nearest hospital emergency department — rather than waiting for a platform response.
Booking requests, WhatsApp messages, and in-app notifications are not monitored as emergency channels and may be delayed.
Verification and due diligence
We aim to build trust in home healthcare Kashmir families can rely on. Where practicable, we may review identity documents, professional registrations, qualifications, or other credentials submitted by providers before or after listing.
Verification steps, when performed, are limited to document checks and platform policies. They do not constitute a guarantee of authenticity, competency, fitness for a particular case, background history, insurance coverage, or future conduct.
We cannot promise that every detail on a profile is accurate, that a provider will accept your booking, or that treatment will succeed, be uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.
You should independently evaluate whether a professional is appropriate for your needs, ask questions before care begins, and confirm registrations or references where important to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in India, Kashmir Health Collective and its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any act, omission, negligence, misconduct, or breach by an independent provider or any third party.
Without limiting the above, we are not responsible for:
- Medical negligence, malpractice, or errors in treatment by independent professionals
- Injury, infection, allergic reaction, complications, side effects, or worsening of a condition
- Delayed arrival, missed appointments, cancellation, or failure to respond
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by providers or users
- Loss of data, service interruption, payment disputes between users and providers, or third-party platform failures
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform
Important note
Some liabilities cannot be excluded under Indian consumer or other applicable law. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived. This section explains the scope of our role as a technology platform, not as a clinical provider.
Your responsibility
By using Kashmir Health Collective, you agree that you are responsible for:
- Deciding whether a listed professional is suitable for your or the patient’s needs
- Sharing accurate contact details, address information, and relevant health history
- Informing the provider about allergies, medicines, implants, mobility needs, and care preferences
- Supervising minors, elders, or vulnerable adults in your household as appropriate
- Following lawful medical advice given by the treating professional, not by the platform
- Using the service lawfully and not for fraudulent, abusive, or emergency purposes
Privacy and data use
We respect that health-related information is sensitive. When you create an account, submit a booking request, contact support, or interact with providers through our platform, we may collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, location or area, address details, care preferences, notes you choose to share, device and usage data, and communications with us.
We use this information to operate the healthcare marketplace, respond to requests, improve our services, prevent misuse, and — where you proceed with a booking — share necessary details with the independent provider you select so they can deliver care.
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell your personal health information. We may use trusted service providers (such as hosting, messaging, analytics, or payment partners) who process data on our instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and whether a booking or dispute is active.
Payments and refunds
Kashmir Health Collective may facilitate or record payments for certain services now or in the future. Where payment is processed through the platform, applicable fees, taxes, and charges will be shown before you confirm.
Because clinical services are delivered by independent professionals, refund and cancellation terms may depend on the provider’s policy, the timing of cancellation, whether a visit has started, consumables already used, and the specific circumstances involved.
We will try to handle payment queries fairly and transparently, but we do not guarantee refunds in every case. Disputes about clinical quality should be raised with the treating professional; platform support may assist with communication where appropriate.
Telemedicine and online consultations
If telemedicine, video consultation, chat-based advice, or remote monitoring features are offered on Kashmir Health Collective, they are subject to the same platform disclaimers above.
Only registered practitioners lawfully permitted to provide teleconsultations in India should offer online medical advice through the platform. Users should verify credentials and understand that remote assessments have limitations — not every condition can be safely managed online, by phone, or by video.
Seek in-person examination, emergency care, or hospital evaluation when symptoms are serious, worsening, unclear, or require physical examination, diagnostic tests, or procedures that cannot be performed remotely.
Intellectual property
The Kashmir Health Collective name, logo, branding, website design, software, text, graphics, photographs, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or use our brand without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use of the platform as intended.
Providers grant us a limited licence to display their profile information, photos, and descriptions for listing and promotion on the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page, our privacy practices, verification standards, or platform features from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice on the website or by email.
Continued use of Kashmir Health Collective after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, unless applicable law requires a different approach.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections and any applicable rules, courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to the platform, except where we agree otherwise in writing.
We encourage users and providers to contact us first at the details below so many concerns can be resolved informally.
