Thyroid Panel (TSH + Free T3/T4) Test at Home in Srinagar
A full picture of thyroid function — not just TSH alone.
What does the Thyroid Panel measure?
The thyroid panel measures three hormones: TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone), Free T4 (thyroxine, the thyroid's main output hormone), and Free T3 (the active form cells actually use). Together they reveal whether your thyroid is underactive (hypothyroidism), overactive (hyperthyroidism), or converting T4 to T3 effectively.
Why does it matter?
Thyroid disorders are among the most common hormone conditions, particularly in women. Hypothyroidism causes fatigue, weight gain, cold intolerance, hair loss, and depression. Hyperthyroidism causes anxiety, weight loss, palpitations, and insomnia. Testing TSH alone misses cases where TSH is 'normal' but T3 conversion is impaired.
Who should get this test?
- Women over 30 with unexplained fatigue, weight changes, or mood symptoms
- Anyone with a family history of thyroid disease
- People with hair loss, brittle nails, or dry skin
- Those with palpitations, anxiety, or heat/cold intolerance
- Patients already on thyroid medication wanting to optimise their dose
